Required education:
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Multimedia Design, Computer Science or a related field.
Field of experience:
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in UX/UI design and/or teaching.
Demonstrated portfolio of UX/UI projects.
Experience training or mentoring youth or diverse audiences is an asset.

Proficiency in industry-standard UX/UI design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, etc.).
Strong understanding of design thinking and human-centered design methodologies.
Knowledge of web and mobile design best practices.

Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate learners.

Design & Prototyping Tools
Figma – interface design, prototyping, collaboration
Adobe XD – UI design and interactive prototypes
Sketch – vector-based UI design (Mac only)
InVision – prototyping and design collaboration
Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator – visual assets and graphic editing
UX Research & Wireframing Tools
Miro or MURAL – for brainstorming, mapping, and journey flows
Balsamiq – quick, low-fidelity wireframing
Web & Mobile Design Skills
Understanding of responsive design and grid systems
Familiarity with HTML and CSS (basic level, for understanding feasibility)
Awareness of accessibility standards (WCAG)

Trello, Asana, or Jira – for managing training projects and tasks
