Experience designing and developing both instructor-led and online learning programs.
Proficiency with e-learning development tools (Moodle, Powtoon, Canvas)
Familiarity with ADDIE, SAM, or other instructional design methodologies.
Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design best practices.
Ability to write clear and concise learning objectives, course outlines, and scripts.
Proficiency in multimedia design (graphics, video editing, audio recording).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

   Computer skills:  

Moodle, Powtoon, Canvas, Articulate 360, etc.

  Job Description:
DOT Lebanon is seeking an Instructional Designer to create engaging, impactful, and learner-centered training programs. The role involves designing curriculum and courses on the DOT LMS (Moodle-based), developing multimedia content (videos, infographics, interactive modules), and incorporating gamification techniques to enhance learner engagement and retention. The Instructional Designer will collaborate with subject matter experts to transform complex concepts into interactive and accessible learning experiences, applying best practices in instructional design (e.g., ADDIE or SAM) to ensure alignment with learning objectives.

Curriculum & Course Design:
Design and develop engaging, gamified, and learner-centric content on the DOT LMS (Moodle-based)
Create comprehensive learning experiences that include interactive modules, quizzes, games, and assessments to maintain learner engagement and retention.

Multimedia Content Creation:
Create high-quality instructional content, including videos, infographics, interactive elements, and animations.
Utilize digital tools and software (Powtoon, Canva, etc.) to produce visual and multimedia assets that enhance the learning experience.

Gamification and Interactivity:
Implement gamification techniques within Moodle, such as leaderboards, badges, and achievement systems, to motivate and engage learners.
Use interactive elements like branching scenarios, simulations, and quizzes to ensure an immersive learning experience.

Collaboration with SMEs:
Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to transform complex concepts into engaging, interactive, and learner-friendly formats.

Instructional Design Best Practices:
Apply instructional design methodologies (such as ADDIE or SAM) to create structured and effective learning experiences.
Ensure all content is accessible, inclusive, and aligns with learning objectives.
