- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office tools
- Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles;
- Fluency in English is required;

   Computer skills:  

- Microsoft Excel
- Familiar with the accounting Software such as PIMS
- Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems
- Microsoft Office

  Job Description:
The Accountant and Admin Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate accounting tasks and smooth administrative operations within the organization. This position involves validating data, managing bank reconciliations, handling petty cash, and ensuring compliance with finance and donor guidelines. Additionally, the Accountant and Admin Officer will assist in office management by improving efficiency, maintaining supplies, managing office maintenance, and coordinating various administrative tasks to support the overall operations of the organization.

Accounting Responsibilities
Support in the data validation on the PIMS system as needed
Validate Partners' payments in the accounting system (PIMS) as needed.
Check the validated data on the ERP that is directly linked to the administration unit.
Accurate Bank Reconciliations with null differences.
Manage the filing system (hard and soft copies) to ensure accuracy and compliance with finance and donor guidelines.
Regular coordination with the head office and field staff for documentation collection.
Manage petty cash payments and perform regular physical counts in a timely manner while ensuring petty cash replenishment is done on time
Check Suppliers’ payments and ensure that the procurement department provided all the related documents as per our policies and our Donors’ regulations
Transfer Beneficiaries' payments via Money transfers agencies
Assist Internal Auditors by providing support during the yearly audit revision and the preparation of audit reports.
Assist Finance and Admin Supervisor during external or donor auditors' visits to ensure smooth and efficient processes
Prepare and gather all required supporting documents that need to be submitted to donors alongside the required financial reports.

Partners Administrative Support:
Follow-up with the Procurement unit and the field officers on financial supporting documentations needed from partners for all projects.
Check the validated data on the ERP that is directly linked to the new courses
Review the related supporting documents and issue their payments (Cheque, letters, or bank transfer, etc…)

Administrative Responsibilities
Making changes to increase efficiency in the workplace
Collaborate with all staff to identify and deliver the required administrative support operations for the organization
Assist in developing, implementing, and improving office policies and procedures
Frequently check office and kitchen supply levels and place appropriate orders after obtaining authorization from the admin manager and best prices from suppliers.
Manage the office maintenance ticketing and follow-up on the yearly maintenance contracts with the Procurement Unit
Coordinate with the Procurement Unit regarding the Office & Laptops and assets Insurance renewal
Coordinate with the cleaning service provider to ensure excellent cleanliness of the premises.
Coordinate with the landlord regarding the building charges, office rent payments and on any new building regulations and keep the records updated
Handle all employees’ taxi requests and coordinate with taxi/drivers ahead of time
Maintain the asset records using computerized systems through entering the needed records while comparing the supply invoices with the purchase orders
Coordinate with DOT Lebanon IT officer on computer asset maintenance
